The Guide’s Shot

Emery, South Dakota

Pheasant season here in South Dakota (SoDak) is more than just another hunting season. It’s a tradition a way of life and part of our heritage in SoDak. It’s what drives our economy for a few months of the year, and it keeps visitor’s coming back. No matter what the reports say good or bad there are plenty of birds to be had here in SoDak.
If you’re a DIY hunter than SoDak has plenty to offer on our Public lands. A good bird dog willingness to put on a few miles and patience will find you success.  If your more into letting a guide do lots of the legwork then you’re in luck as well. We have been busy out at A1 Al’s Pheasant Ranch this season but with plenty of guides available and lots of birds in the area we can always squeeze in a few more hunters.
The #1 thing when hunting at A1 Al’s is that you will not be mixed into a group of strangers. You will hunt with your own group on one of the many pieces of property available. Every group gets a guide with dogs and we will clean and package all of your birds.  Late season hunting is a blast so book your trip today to experience South Dakota’s finest.
