Since the first tournament was held in the AIM Weekend Walleye Series, in 2014, safety for both teams and Fan Nation has been paramount, and will continue to keep all safe and having fun for the AWWS in 2020 and beyond in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak.
“To adhere to state regulations, AIM will postpone the 1st event of 2020 in Wisconsin on the Fox River to a time and place TBD,” said Denny Fox, AIM national tournament director. “The health and safety of all our teams and Fan Nation is utmost,” Fox added.
All teams that have registered for this event will be contacted via email as soon as the plans are finalized for a rescheduled event. The teams will have the option to move their entry to the new event or get a refund. Please watch for that email. Instructions will be given to the teams.
“Teams and Fan Nation, we’re all in this together, we know you are ready to go. We’ll have more updates as we get closer to another AIM Opening Day, April 26th in Winneconne, WI”.
