Hello fellow crappie fishermen and women,

We are so blessed to have all of you as followers of CrappieNOW over the past eight years. With the new year upon us, we are proud to announce the release of our brand-new website for CrappieNOW. In the past we embraced the newest and best technologies in which to distribute a world class crappie ezine. Over the years, technologies have been changing as have methods of distributing knowledge and news.

The new website will no longer use the page turner technology. It will still contain a monthly published set of crappie articles, videos and how-to tidbits covering the month published and areas across the country. The format allows the content to be more searchable and free flowing than before. It is also very easy to use, totally mobile and social media friendly.

It is no longer just a magazine; it is an A to Z crappie resource. We have tagged all our 8 years of content to allow the user to find information across the 3,500 plus articles and videos we have in our media library. In the near future we will have defined levels of beginner, intermediate and advanced fishermen as a classification associated to each article and video to make it easier to sort through as a reader.

We have included in the new version a brag board, shopping cart, and classifieds section whereby boats and in the future other items may be sold to other fishermen. A new event calendar will allow tournament managers and directors to load crappie events for all to see and post tournament results and pictures.

The new site will also allow the user to view and search our 280 plus how-to videos by tags and subject matter desired. Everything is focused on technics, locations to fish, equipment and even important news impacting the crappie fishing world.

The January edition is on the new site and you may reach it via our same url www.crappienow.com. We are still in the process of transferring older data such as thousands of pictures and inserting content and setting new pricing for the ad buyer, shopping items and classifieds purchases.

Lets us know what you think of the new site as it matures in the coming months.

God Bless,

Dan Dannenmueller Sr.
