Professional Angler Spencer Deutz Partners with Fargo SCHEELS to Grow the Sport of Fishing through

Education and Outreach

Fargo, ND – Professional angler Spencer Deutz has partnered with Fargo SCHEELS, a leading outdoor retailer, to introduce area youth to the sport of fishing through a series of hands-on clinics this spring and summer. Open to children of all ages,  the hands-on clinics focus on water safety, fish identification, knot tying, casting, and waterway protection from aquatic nuisance species. Attendees will also be able to tour Deutz’s new, state-of-the-art 2023 Ranger 621PRO, powered by a Yamaha F300XCB.

Deutz and SCHEELS’ grassroots collaboration is designed to build community, while promoting fishing and the importance of preserving our waterways. “I am thrilled to partner with SCHEELS to grow the fishing community,” said Spencer Deutz. “Fishing has been a huge part of my life, and I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and experience with the next generation of anglers.”

Registration is required and clinics will be held at the Fargo, ND Scheels store on:

  • May 4th at 6pm
  • June 13th at 6pm
  • July 18th at 6pm
  • August 15th at 6pm
  • September 5th at 6pm
