Student Angler Organization to Fund Expenses for Youth Anglers to Attend the National Professional Anglers Association (NPAA) Conference January 4-6, 2018

The Student Angler Organization (SAO) is proud to provide the Future Angler Foundation (FAF) a donation of $2,000 to help cover the expenses involved with sending several SAO anglers to the NPAA conference being held in Bloomington MN January 4-6th

Jimmy Bell, SAO president commented, “As a non-profit organization our mission is centered on educating and getting more students involved in fishing, and that mission fits perfectly with the FAF and the NPAA missions.”

Bell went on to say, “We are proud to have the opportunity to help support brining several of our student anglers to the NPAA conference to help them learn about what it takes to become a professional angler.  Last year we saw firsthand the impact the NPAA conference had on so many of the Student Anglers that attended, and just wanted to help in any way we could this year to bring more to the event.”

Any Student Angler Tournament Trail (SATT) anglers interested in coming to the NPAA Conference should e-mail the address Admin@StudentAngler.org, or laurie@worldwidemarineins.com to obtain additional information.  Watch Video

The SAO owns and operates the SATT, and in 2018 it held 6 events in MN with the help of Lund Boats and Rapala, both NPAA Supporting Partners.  We held the largest ever student events in MN on open water and provided students with $24,000 in Scholarships at our TOC, along with giving back $15,000 to the high school teams to help grow the sport we all love.

The Student Angler Organization is a volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to increasing fishing opportunities and environmental awareness for students, youth and schools through, competition, scholarships, education, and mentoring opportunities, creating an outdoor passion for life for the students and their families.
