In these difficult times, more and more Americans are realizing the value of the outdoors. As all anglers know, spending time on the water can do wonders to improve your mental and physical health.
Thankfully, a historic bill is moving in Congress that will support our public lands and waters for decades to come.
Your U.S. Senators will be voting as early as this week on the Great American Outdoors Act, so make sure they hear from you today!
The Great American Outdoors Act would permanently fund the highly successful Land and Water Conservation Fund, which for the past five decades has helped provide access to recreational areas, trails and waterways throughout the nation. It also would establish a new program to improve the deteriorating infrastructure of our national parks and forests.
This is one of the most significant opportunities for our public lands and waters in a long time, and it’s important that Congress act now! Please take a moment to contact your U.S. Senators and urge them to vote ‘yes’ on the Great American Outdoors Act.
