USA Bass is excited to partner with Major League Fishing, Keep America Fishing and the American Sportfishing Association at the 2021 ICAST Cup to award the top women’s pair a spot on the 2022 USA Pan American Bass fishing team. Interested anglers can register for the event at

“Women anglers are a huge part of our USA Bass Team,” says Team Manager John Knight. “When MLF came to us about the ICAST Cup, we knew that this was a great opportunity for all the women bass anglers across the nation. Competing at the ICAST Cup and participating in ICAST is a big win.”

The winning pair will then join with other top pro USA anglers including Captain Scott Martin, Jacob Wheeler, John Cox, Roland

Martin and others to make up the USA Bass Team.

Pan Am Bass Fishing Championship History:

The Pan American Bass Fishing Championship started in 2018 on Lake Okeechobee with the help of the Roland & Mary Ann Martin Marina & Resort. It then moved to Canada’s Lake St. Francis in Cornwall, ON, in 2019. The most recent event was held on Lake Guerrero in Padilla, Tamaulipas, Mexico. The 2022 event will be hosted again by the United States. Teams from the United States, Mexico, Canada, Costa Rica have all competed.

2022 Pan American Bass Fishing Championships location:

“We are going to be announcing the location for the 2022 Pan Am very soon,” says USA Bass President Tony Forte. “Let’s just say it is an iconic bass fishing community, and we expect our Pan American nations to jump at the chance to fish it. We will have our strongest USA Bass Team ever and look forward to qualifying our Women’s pair at the ICAST cup.”
